Description
The wooden black st benedict rosary is 50 cm long and has 6 mm wooden black beads. It has a chain rosary and a st benedict centre piece with enamel inlay. The st benedict crucifix is 3.5 cm and can be worn as a necklace. Saint benedict of Nursia is depicted in an eastern orthodox icon and is the abbot patron of Europe. He was born in 480 and died in 547. He is venerated in all christian denominations which venerate saints. He was canonized in 1220 and has a major shrine at monte cassino abbey with his burial.
